Miss Chesnut just finished her theme on volcanoes.  The children learned so much.  They had a great time constructing the volcano.  They made the form out of chicken wire.  Then, they paper-mached it.  The volcano errupted on Friday.  She used baking soda, vinegar, water, and food coloring to make the volcano errupt!  They children really enjoyed watching it explode!

The volcano is named Mount Pinatubo.

Pilot

On Monday, November 15, we had a special visitor.  Mr. Matt Gowan, Reese's dad, came to talk to us about airplanes.  Mr. Gowan is a pilot for Delta.  He talked to the children about his job, where he flies, and how he became a pilot.  Thank you Mr. Matt for sharing!
