Puppet Show

AEEC was fortunate to have Bob Parsons from Walk About Puppets on Friday, February 18.  He presented the puppet show, Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  The children really enjoyed the puppet show.  They wrote many details in their journal after the show!

Guest Readers

We had special visitors that came to read to our class today.  They are members of the Auburn University Golf Team.  They read Counting Crocodiles and The Perfect Pony.  After reading, they gave the children an Auburn cup.  Thanks for visiting our class!

Valentine's Day Party

We had our class Valentine's Party on Friday, February 11, 2011.   The children had icecream sundaes and a sugar cookie.  They really enjoyed making their Valentines' boxes and looking at their Valentines' cards.  What a fun filled day!

100th Day of School

We celebrated the 100th day of school on Tuesday, January, 25.  The children rotated to each of the five different classes and did a different activity in each class.  We had a fun day!

They watched 101 Dalmations in Ms. Caldwell's room.

They made a Fruit Loop necklace with Mrs. Sartain.

The children decortated 100 day glasses in Mrs. Young's room.

They made 100 day books with Mrs. Fields.

The children had a hershey kiss hunt in Mrs. Griffies room.

The hershey kiss hunt was our favorite!
